Background
Barnyard Beats is Triple C Stables popular annual fundraiser for first responders and veterans.
Barnyard Beats was created by Cathy and Paul Murphy, owners of Triple C and organizers of the annual event. The fundraiser came about after Paul, a Vietnam veteran, felt compelled to do something to support his fellow vets. Paul understands the trauma affecting so many soldiers from this conflict and remembers how badly he and others were treated when they returned from the war. For him, Barnyard Beats is a way to give back, and the event has done so with great success. Their last pre-pandemic outing, in 2020, raised $10,000.
One hundred percent of the proceeds go to veterans’ and first responder causes; in the past, the dollars supported Veterans Forward, and that is who will benefit this year as well. The event also supports first responders who also have to deal with constant trauma and are not always recognized for the hazards they face on the job.
The annual bash always features great music, food, raffles and other fun activities and is always held in August.
