Based on the 4-H model, mornings will be learning about and taking care of chickens, turkeys, pigs, cows, horses and honey bees as well as going blueberry, strawberry and veggie picking.

Afternoons are for the horses! We’ll go on a field trip to a dairy farm and walk to Knight’s Pond and go swimming. This is a rain or shine camp! Weeks are age appropriate– contact FMI.

Camp is run by an experienced horse woman, farmer and mother of two, CPR Certified, and insured. I would like to share my farm, stable and knowledge with children, integrating responsibility and horsemanship throughout nature’s classroom.

Please pre-register by the week prior, check, cash, Venmo or PayPal. Deposits are non-refundable.

“Summer camp offers kids a safe place to learn about nature, farm animals and have fun outside. I think it’s important for kids today to unplug and there are no cell phones* at camp—just lots of great things to see and do. Nature’s classroom also helps kids learn responsibility and build confidence. Just these few weeks can be transformative.”—Cathy Murphy
